Who are these citizens planning to hire as a lawyer?  Maybe Bob or his daughter would take the care pro bono.  And why do all you bozos who have hounded JP throughout his tenure as county administrator assume he is leaving the county?  Doesn't he own a house here?  A million dollars will make a lot of house payments.

Sorry Wyatt but Art would be too late for that position.  But maybe he can get an appointment to the vacated auditor's office once Jackie Hunter is hired as administrator.

Not to worry everyone.  I have it on good authority that the next chairman on the RNC will be SC's own Katon Dawson.  All the GOP worrying can stop.  The party will be in great hands under Katon Dawson's leadership-why he's practically superman, spiderman, and underdog all rolled up into one.  Just ask him--he'll tell you how great he is.

I'm not Mr. Tippet or Pappy but I've been living in Anderson more years than I care to remember.  This group didn't start off with Joey Preston or even Gene Taylor.  Go all the way back to the Gary Smoak.  This is the same group that whooped and hollered over Smoak and how he wasted money on the new courthouse and his renovations to the old courthouse.  This is the same group with some new additions that called into Matt and Bev before Matt died and John Woodson took over.  John would not tolerate their message of negativity so they went to Rick Driver who would probably still be out looking for black helicopters if he didn't have the "Real" taxpayers behind him.  As for taking over the Republican party, I don't have a clue how that happened but they sure did take over.  It's a wonder any Republicans can get elected.  The Democrats should be dancing in the streets.

Mr. Hankey's hit the nail on the head.  That's how Cindy and her minions have taken over the Republican party through total intimidation.  They claim to have taken down the county and the state is next.  The officers in the ACRP are afraid to open their mouths to object to the likes of Crowe, Harvell West Freemantle and a host of others who run roughshod over legitimate Republican candidates and push their Libertarian ilk off as true Republicans.  I know I'm embarrassed by their actions.  I may not be a Republican much longer.

I thought we were discussing the District 2 race.  Holder has limited intelligence to put it kindly.  Try talking to him.  Then ask him why he doesn't have any signs???????  Makes you almost ashamed to be a Republican or an elephant for that matter.

But hey--we got moderators.  Most blogs belong to one person who moderate the comments.  If you don't want to play by the rules--go home  Oh that's right!  You support the Rick is Right crowd in the Republican party.  So you don't care about the rules.  And any one who doesn't march lock step with you and Cindy and Bob have to be wrong, bad, crooks, etc.  I say Keep up the good work JD, Pappy, IBV and Merrymac.  You go you moderators.  Keep the blog rolling.

Well I wasn't there either but a very reliable source told me that Ms. Floyd came in late and left early.  So she may have been there for that vote.  I also understand the meeting ran until midnight.

Well Well Lee-cole do you live in Ms Floyd's district?  I believe the voters of her district have found her to be qualified because she has been re-elected for the past how many years and by an even more overwhelming majority than Cindy "letmeaskaquestionbutdon'tbotherwithananswercauseIknowyourlying" Wilson.  What were those margins over Tim Williams and Marshall Mitchell?  You know Lee you really should think for yourself and not regurgitate all the WAIM talking points.  And if you find Gracie unqualified and misinformed, what do you say about Bob "thedogatemyordiance" Waldrep?  He seems to be as senile and uninformed as Gracie does.  His inability to conduct a meeting in an orderly fashion is quite evident.  Go back and watch some of the council meetings while he was chairman.

See Bob you answered your own question.  It is a matter of perspective.  And I too don't want to start a fight. We've already been whipped one time.  I just hope your group now that they're in power will work with all the people of Anderson but it looks like I will be disappointed.  And as for SSHM's post, I think he's trying to point out what goes around, comes around.  The pendulum swings you know.  It just seems to me that so far the new power brokers have proven that they can be just as mean and petty as the previous power brokers.  There is no new thing under the sun.

Well plumbbob you beat me to that punchline.  I googled ACUSA and all i got was a link to the Episcopal Church website.  So now we are to have a right-wing Episcopal church for all people.  Will there be wine at communion?  If so count me in.  Since this is a church for all people will the good Father welcome all those people his radio station has slammed so unChristianly in the past primary.  Seems mightily hypocritical to me.  I'll stick with Flip's church of What's Happening Now.
